My uniform lately has been a simple tee, skinnies, and heels. It's effortless, comfortable, and chic. Heels (and red lipstick!) give an otherwise bland look a little flair. They always make a simple outfit extra special. 

Speaking of heels: YOU GUYS. I hit it big at Nordstrom Rack this week. I am home in Cincinnati visiting my family/friends and stopped in the Rack after having brunch with my best friend. Probably a good thing there's not a Rack close to where I currently live. ;)

Now, this Rack doesn't have a ton of designer shoes. Mostly mid-range, like Tory Burch, Kate Spade, and Coach. There were also a few Vince, Stuart Weitzman and SJP. But if I go to the Rack, I am going to DIG to make sure I don't miss anything. I'm glad I did...because I scored these Valentino beauties! I have been eyeing different high heeled lace up sandals anyway, so when I found these, I couldn't believe it. These were sitting ever so discreetly in the size 11 section (I am an 8.5 lol), but I pulled them out and tried them on anyway. 

They fit. It was magical. Most designer shoes run small, but these run REALLY small. I am typically a 39 in Italian sizing and these are a 40.5 . So if you're on the hunt for designer shoes, always look in a couple sizes up, as well as your typical size.
